Hey! Listen up! There will be times in your recovery when you will say “hey I am getting my life back” Then you get this anxious feeling, what if I fall back into that dark place. I know because it has happened to me more than once. Do not let your heart be troubled, that’s OCD wanting to stick around. Remember you are creating a different mind set. Be patient, brave, strong and resilient.You are a lot stronger that you “THINK”
Recovery is about knowledge of the disorder. Recovery is about what we do with the knowledge about the disorder. Recovery is about implementing the tools that work best for you. Recovery is about accountability of taking one step at a time. Recovery is about picking yourself up when you stumble. Recovery is about knowing that others have the disorder. Recovery is possible.
